Welcome to 5th Grade TAG at Nelson Elementary School
Welcome to 5th Grade TAG at Nelson Elementary School in beautiful Newport News, Virginia! Mrs. Marse (formerly Ms. Clark),and I are excited to welcome you to our classes, and we look forward to working and learning with all of our students and their families to make your last year in elementary school the BEST ever! Ms. Clark will be teaching math and science, Mrs. Roberson will teach writing, reading and social studies. Each homeroom teacher will teach in her homeroom, so students will rotate between rooms 34 and 35, all part of the learning cottage off the 2nd grade hall. TAG students will have World Language enrichment, as well as art, music, P.E., library, and guidance. Students will move to the locations where each subject is taught, much like in middle school.
